Ben Cotterill Photography

I'm a photographer based in Northampton and throughout the UK specialising in weddings, portraits and family photography. My approach is a documentary, reportage style of photography, used to record your special event as it happens. I don't do overly elaborate set ups, I just shoot as I see it, which hopefully you'll love.

I love photography! I love what I do, and there is no greater pleasure than handing over a set of images to a client and for them to love them. What I try to do is encapsulate the emotion of the moment to cherish forever, whether it be a wedding, , a portrait session, a large commercial campaign, or whatever it is I’m photographing on that particular day. I’m a pretty chilled out guy, and I try bring that calming chill with me whenever I photograph, it all helps people relax and ultimately helps me take better pictures. Having studied photography from the age of 15 at school, right through to gaining my BA (Hons) degree in photography I have developed my craft to where it is today, and I strive to continue my development with every image I make. I’m currently based in Northampton, UK, but can travel nationwide and abroad if needed.
