What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote we need an event location, date, a brief explanation of the type of event and what's will be required from us, the estimated number of guests, potential venue and whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this information, we are able to see what services and equipment are required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly ask the provider about the equipment they operate, you wouldn't want your wedding being done by a DJ with unprofessional-looking equipment. We'd also recommend you ask if they have a website and phone number as all professional companies should have that and lastly ask what experience the company and its staff have.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Alness Entertainment Services (AES) was born when the fun became a business Angus the company owner used to do large live events and stage setups in high school for things like award nights etc. the fun started to slowly become a business and AES was born. We have now supplied quality event & entertainment services to Scotland for the past 3 years. Our passion is to make everyones "special event" special and memorable with 3 aims in mind being affordable, reliable & professional.
