What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The more information provided about an event the easier it is and quicker it is to put a quote together. I love hearing about the finer details of events, themes, special occasions, favourite foods etc so I can write a menu that suits the event! It's the finer details that matter.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Provide as much information as possible about your event as this will filter out some of the ones that won't be suitable. Do a bit of research into the provider. Check websites and reviews etc.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started Smoke Tin Kitchen because of my passion for cooking with wood and charcoal. I want to provide the highest quality food in a unique and exciting environment. After many years spent in commercial kitchens, it's great to finally get outside and get the fire lit.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event is such a good platform for finding customers. The bookings we've had have all been brilliant with lots of different types of events catered for. We've done private dinners in mansions to wedding breakfasts in fields! My favourite booking has been a private dinner we cooked in a wooded area of a private estate overlooking the rolling countryside. There's such a wide variety of events on Add to Event there is always a good chance of being selected. I'd recommend to other caterers!
