What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When designing your bar package, the key details ideally available are: the event date, guests numbers, location and a brief explanation of the type of event with rough timings. Based on this info, we can create some custom package options for your event designed by one of our event managers.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at the experience of the company. Ask for sample menus, previous work examples just so you know your standards and the standard of your vendor lineup. Each company will have a niche and it's about finding the company that you feel confident can deliver your event brief.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Mr Flavour was established in 2013 by 2 directors with scientific degrees. With a combined hospitality experience of over 20 years, the directors wanted to create something 'different' with drinks that matched the diversity of catering. Using scientific techniques, Mr Flavour was designed to create theatrical and visually stunning drinks for events nationwide.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've had the pleasure of hosting weddings, corporate events and private parties previously via Add to Event. Our favourite was our first ever wedding in 2012 in Newcastle. It was a big honour to be trusted by our first wedding couple and with the organic growth of the company since, we look back at fondness of the service we delivered then and have continued throughout the years.
