What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote for customers to hire a coffee bar we would appreciate you supplying the following information:
-location details
-expected number of guests
-hours of service
This will assist us in giving you a more accurate quote first time.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have an understanding of what output you may need from a coffee supplier - is it a constant, steady flow or do you need lots of coffees made over a short period (for example when people arrive?) Ask the provider how they may deal with that, their output and power requirements for their machine. Do they have 1 or 2 machines to deal with higher demands? Ask to see photos of the set-up to ensure it fits in with your event, but also get an understanding of the background of the barista- good customer service is important when engaging with your guests.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Camper Cafe was born out of the love of old VWs and a passion for the outdoors and coffee. We love delighting guests with an exceptional coffee from a quirky, unique set-up. Over the 8 years, we have been established we have grown our fleet of mobile coffee bars and innovated to have more reliable, faster output for our clients with the added benefit of mobile WiFi to enable us to deliver a modern day roaming cafe.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

One booking through Add to Event was for a property company to launch their new housing development and they invited local residents to join them for coffee, mince pies and Christmas carols. The coffee van was the main attraction and helped them to build a closer relationship with the community. “Thank you for such great service as well, I think the complimentary hot drinks and delicious minces pies/cookies was a great pull!”
