Whether its a branding campaign for a company or a special one-off show or display at your wedding or party, CURIOUS handle everything from concept design right through to the build and execution on the day itself.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to be able to provide a comprehensive quote to potential clients, we need an idea of the event and it's purpose. Why you're hosting it and what your aims for that event or special occasion are completely dictate every part of the quote. We need a date or provisional date for when the event is planned and details of location unless not yet decided.
We would need a short description of your requirements from us, i.e. to design, plan and manage the entire event, organise specific elements of the event with other third parties or the elements you wish us to take on. If you are doing a product launch then our quoting parameters will be very different than if we were acting as a wedding PR company.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for an event planner there needs to be an initial consultation to discuss the event and your requirements. You need to establish if you are right for one another and share in the same vision on style in order to fulfil your expectations. You should discuss and review some of the agencies previous work and ensure that they have the capability to delivery the elements your require.
Our goal as event planners is to create something that tells your story, creating an experience that fulfils your brief and creates an event or experience that will leave a lasting impression on your guests.
