What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a useful quote, we need location, date, amount and age of guests, hours needed, indoor/outdoor and theme.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check previous work and reviews online - Facebook, website, etc. Not just on here as clients don't always put reviews on after the contact has come via email/phone.
Keep details as solid and understandable as possible.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and check any details you can think of.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've always been an exceptionally creative person in both creative therapies, delivering the arts award, performing and making/designing things from a young age. I started doing henna and festival makeup for myself and friends and then people mentioned that I should start my own business, which is what I did :) I don't regret it at all and have since, grown month by month with new clients and people referring me.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Gosh, actually really recently, I had an event at Bella Italia in Sheffield through Add to Event. It was a wonderful booking, the staff were beautiful, clients just so sweet and a lot of fun! I'd definitely recommend signing up. It's been much more than an investment.
