What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To ensure that we can give you the best quote then we need:
Type of event (corporate, music... etc.)
Date to and from (this is including set up times)
Date and times of the event
Indoor or outdoor
Power availability (a site visit is ideal)
Any ideas you have or requirements...
We also like to have a quick phone call so you can tell us everything you want or need that emails can't convey.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Knowing your equipment, and the quality the manufacture brings, quality not quantity. This ensures that the lights are regularly maintained and if they break on the show (rarely happens) how fast you can get spares to technicians who know the lights inside out.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We love seeing things go right and the look on faces of clients when we pull a rabbit out of the hat.
Lighting design does take time, but with our modern systems and high end lights it's become more effective. Bevec was born due working for many other companies who didn't care about lighting and we did. Clients loved what we were doing with the lights and said how much of an impact it made to their investment into the event.
So with a few lights we started. We take good care of every client and making sure that the event is better then what they expect. Bespoke design and technicians who are client facing and very good at their job. Client first, lights second.
Going the extra miles to establish good business relationships, not for one event but future too.
