Here they share their history as well as some very useful advice for when looking to hire a similar provider.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We just need to know the basics to ensure that we provide the perfect portable toilet solution. In most cases, we only need a day’s notice as we offer next day delivery. To book portable toilets for your event we’d like to know how many people will be attending, the date and time of the event and whether food and drink will be available. If it’s a multi-day event, we also need the number of days that you will require our toilets services for. This will allow us to accurately estimate the number of toilets that you will need and ensure that we provide an accurate quote. To give your guests the best experience, we offer a range of different toilet options so we’ll also ask you to choose the right ones for your needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I’d ask the provider 3 questions. Firstly, ‘how long have you been doing this for?’ You need to feel confident that they will deliver on time and have a track record of at least a couple of years in business. Secondly, ‘have you done any similar events?’ Every event is different and will need a specialised solution. Your provider should understand this and be able to assist. And thirdly, ‘do you have references or reviews that I can check?’ You need to know that they are able to deliver consistently excellent service. Adequate toilet facilities are one of the most important things at an event or function and unclean or inadequate facilities will reflect very poorly on you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
This is a long story! We started LetLoos over 25 years ago having hosted our own events and found the limited options available for portable toilets too restrictive. For clients wanting to host premium or specialised events – they were just no good, reliable providers. Our company was founded on the desire to provide mobile toilet solutions that were a cut above the rest. To do this, we focused on offering clean, hygienic, spacious toilets backed by a 24-hour support and maintenance service.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We’ve really enjoyed working with Add to Event. Many of the clients that we’ve worked with from this platform have gone on to become longer-term partnerships and it’s been an amazing opportunity to help people from different industries.
I think my favourite event was a summer of love festival, where we received an urgent order to supply 110 toilet units, 4 Disabled easy access toilets and 10 Urinals in under a week. And it was a huge success! We had the portable toilets set up and installed with time to spare. For me, it was a testimony to great teamwork.
