What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Here at Luxury-Loos, we keep things pretty simple so we just have one set price for our trailers. What we really need to know is the number of people you are having at your party and how long is the party going on. It's just making sure that we stay within the limits of the trailer capacities. And finally, we just need to know if there is any access to electricity and water!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to always pick up the phone have a quick chat and see who they are and sound like. Ask them how it all works and what information they might need to know. There's no such thing as silly questions here. The idea is for you to have peace of mind that the company you're getting on board is able to do their job and that both sides don't have any hiccups along the way!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Let's face it here guys, I'm not passionate about toilets, but times have been tough with Covid. I'm a one-man band over here and have had to diversify my business to stay afloat to keep the family fed and the only way I can do that at the moment is to make sure my service is top-notch and all customers are happy. Plus to be honest it's quite nice getting out and meeting other people that you normally wouldn't have a chance to meet and I enjoy meeting people!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
There's a booking that will stay with me forever! It was a booking for one of my toilet trailers in Claygate, a pretty standard post-Covid party, people were lovely, booking through Add to Event has been great! The reason why it was so memorable is that I ended up chatting with them and they put me in touch with someone who had a dog that was rescued and needed a new home and that's the day Luna the 3-year-old, 50kg Great Dane came into our lives and is now happily living with us!
So the funny thing is you never know who or what you meet along the way!
