What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Things that make it easier to quote for a party are as follows:

Date/Timings,
What equipment will be required.
Notifying whether there are any potential logistical issues (like being unable to park at the venue, multiple flights of stairs with no lift etc).
Music preference.
The above usually enables a supplier to provide an accurate quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Although it may be a little boring, safety is key! is your DJ insured and is the equipment that is being used PAT tested?
Depending on what you're looking for, you could ask for any experience of parties done previously that had a similar requirement.
Ask your DJ for references and examples of parties they have played at before. Almost all DJ's will have both and should share with you. You can then decide if what the references are saying and the videos/pictures are showing are what you're looking for.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always had a passion for music and have a diverse taste too. I also have loved DJing since I started back in 2004 so it made sense to start doing what I love!
I am so glad I did start this because although I am there to create amazing memories through the parties I put on and the music I play, I too have created amazing memories by playing to some great crowds over the years.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I think a stand out event for me would have to be a party I did just before lockdown. It was an 18th birthday party and it was such a great crowd. They were up for a party and also musically diverse, so it allowed me to play a range of genres. They had a great time, as did I and I received future bookings from it, which is always nice!
