What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
What, where, when the event is and if there is any theme. This enables me to be able to recommend the product that I think will fit with the event perfectly.
How many guests are expected and how long you would like us to provide a photo experience for as this enables me to ensure you’re going to get the best use of your choice and also the best value for money.
What you would like to get out of booking a photo experience, for example, making memories, capturing data, entertainment, or just purely for fun element and silly pics.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would always recommend going to meet the supplier and to see the product service you are booking before handing over money as this gives peace of mind for what you are paying for before the actual event.
Make sure they have the support and back up services should anything go wrong and this goes hand in hand with the relevant insurances and electrical testing. Don’t be afraid to ask for certificates a genuine supplier won’t hesitate in showing you them.
Communicate with the supplier and make sure you build that customer/supplier relationship so you get the best on the day of your event as they know exactly what you want. Remember you’re paying them so they should be making sure you’re happy.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I was unhappy in my previous job and have always dreamed of being my own boss and taking that leap of faith has enabled me to be able to do more school runs and in all, I get to share some magical moments with my clients.
