What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote, ideally we need the event date, age of children, location and time of the event. From this, we are then able to provide the best possible quote and the most suitable ponies for the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the provider about their experience as they are working with live animals and children if they are insured and their welfare policy for the ponies.
Ask about location, areas covered in their travel time. Also, enquire about the ponies suitable to match the age of the children.
Finally, ask about dates and times in order for the provider to establish if it is practical to reach your location for your preferred timings.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started Raspberry Fields Pony Parties because we share a love of ponies and we have always worked with children. We want to offer a family experience, for children to be able to enjoy our beautiful safe ponies and enjoy a magical experience that will last a lifetime. We are passionate about providing great service and ensuring that children can learn from and fall in love with ponies in a memorable way.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have taken lots of bookings through Add to Event and it has really helped us to establish our business. The first booking we won was for a birthday party in Leyland - it was a great day as we held the party on the green at the front of the house, the weather was fantastic and the children were great! Our ponies were a joy for the children, they groomed them, decorated them with bows and had lots of pony rides. Neighbours from the surrounding houses also came out to watch and chat and we had a super day, the birthday girl was thrilled to have real-life ponies in her garden! We had fantastic reviews from the event and it really helped us to gain further business. We would thoroughly recommend Add to Event for its ease of use and for the amount of business it generates for us.
