What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a comprehensive quote ideally, we would need from the customer the date, time and venue address. The number of guests would also be very helpful. We also theme our candy carts so if the customer has a certain theme then that information would also be useful.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Collect as much information as possible by asking the correct questions. It’s very important that you ask to see proof of any insurance documents or certification they have. Make sure they have all the correct details and dates of venue to avoid any confusion contact the supplier 24 hours before to confirm everything is ok.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I’ve always had a creative side so when the opportunity came around for me to buy my first candy cart I jumper at the chance. You will see from my pictures that my carts are different from others you may see. I have spent a large amount of time planning & designing each and every one of them. My business has become very successful and within just 3 months I have been able to grow and expand my business massively. I enjoy creating and planning new carts. I also enjoy delivering my carts and seeing the children’s faces when they see it all up filled with sweets ready for them.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I’ve had some amazing corporate bookings from Add to Event, from footballers parties to a TV production company who continue to use us on set and also for wrap parties. Add to Event have been amazing and I have already recommended them to many other suppliers who have also joined up with them and had bookings. My business wouldn’t have been half as successful if it wasn’t for them! Highly recommend and easy website to use.
