What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We love to get to know you and your celebration as much as possible prior to quoting, so we find the best way to do this is to have an informal chat over the phone or skype, or even better have a good old fashioned coffee and cake! This help's us work out exactly what you are looking whilst learning more about your event. This means we can be as accurate and transparent as possible with our pricing. From our meeting or conversation, we can then provide you with a detailed quote to ensure you celebrate in style, whatever the occasion!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are working with a planner, it is important you have a good 'vibe' from them. You will be working with your chosen planner closely. Gut instinct counts for a lot in our opinion and we want you to enjoy the planning experience as much as we do which is why we always like to chat prior to working with a couple! We feel so strongly about this we are even happy to recommend other planners who may be a better fit, so it's always worth a chat if you are thinking of working with a planner to see if we gel.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I had been working in the industry for eight years when I decided I wanted to fufil my dream of starting The Wedding Help. I have been fortunate enough to work alongside some incredible venues and will always be grateful for my experience with them, however being able to give 100% attention to my clients now and the flexibility to strive to do whats best for them is what I set out to achieve. My passion has always been weddings, I find them so interesting and I love the raw warmth they bring, there are moments throughout weddings I think crikey, I need a minute to take all that in! But, it really is only a minute as then there's always something to be doing!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
The platform is brilliant for connections and whilst I am a relatively new user to the site, I have found the transparency very helpful which aligns with my values as a business. I was able to communicate with clients really easily and now we are in full planning swing for some fabulous 2020 weddings!
