Originally from Milan, owner and experienced cook Silvio Brioschi has taken catering to the next level by combining an Italian delicacy with an English favourite.
Porchetta Italiana is known in Italy for being the best way to enjoy pork, enhancing the natural flavours using a unique spice blend and slow-cooking process. With over 20 years’ experience in the food industry, Silvio swapped a career of running a fully catered yacht in the Caribbean to provide catering for a range of events, including corporate functions, private parties, festivals, shows and markets.
Unsurprisingly, Roast Event has become popular with couples looking to tie the knot. Weddings are a regular feature in Silvio’s calendar and he loves making sure every detail of the catering goes to plan. From arranging consultations and providing bespoke menus, every element is taken care of. Silvio says “It’s great to be able to help people by removing all of the stress for them. Roasts create a superb focal point and really add the wow factor.”
The style of roast offered is tailored to each event and can cater from 50 to 300 people. Included in the service are the professional roasting or cooking machines, a dedicated chef, homemade sauces, stuffings and a range of authentic breads. Roast Event also specialises in providing vegetarian dishes and homemade desserts.
