We are John and Olly, also known as 'Two South London Melts'.
Friends of almost 30 years (and born in the same South London neighbourhood) we decided to combine John's love of cooking and Olly's love of eating to bring you 'Two South London Melts'. It's a marriage of cheese, meat and bread. John's strong Italian influences (his heritage being Pugliese) and his local London boy roots are really felt in his cooking. Olly doesn't bring much to the table, other than his knowledge of eating A LOT... and of course his smile.
John's professional background consists of an array of fine London eateries. He has previously held senior positions at Soho House, Daphne's and Le Caprice. Olly is merely a slightly over-weight middle aged man, but blessed with a fine palette. Whilst John has worked across London, Olly has pretty much eaten his way across London.
