Magic Dave is an entertainer based in the South East of England, but has worked across the country performing magic and illusions to audiences big and small!

Dave has also got experience working on numerous theatre productions in roles including lighting sound and stage management and has built special effects for theatre and live shows

Hello and welcome to the amazing world of Magic Dave. Magic Dave has been working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years entertaining people across the UK in venues large and small and currently is based in Essex.

Like most magicians Dave started out at a very young age and his earliest memory of magic is from when he was 4 and seeing a family friend perform tricks. From then on he was hooked, spending his pocket money on tricks and getting a Paul Daniels magic set for his 8th birthday just too it even further!
Having started performing professionally over 15 years ago, Magic Dave started out in Theatre in Education/supporting schools. His main role was providing assemblies, lunch clubs, and drama workshops dealing with tough issues. As part of this work Magic Dave and his colleagues volenteered at the time to help teach struggling students to read. Based in the Special Educational Needs department in a school, Dave soon got to know all the students in the department including one boy who was fascinated with the tricks that Dave brought in. Whenever he saw Dave he always asked for a trick and after giving Dave a hug, he would always say “You’re magic, Dave”. Within a few weeks it had caught on with the rest of the SEN department and soon it became second nature to be called Magic Dave!
From then on it’s been non stop for Magic Dave, performing at weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and more. And now it’s even more exciting as Magic Dave is taking his first live show to theatres near you!
