I started djing at a very young age, I worked from youth clubs to young farmers parties in the mid-1980s I moved further afield to bigger venues and working nightclubs in the 90s

I have moved with times as back in the day was vinyl only that was a skill on its own then used cdj`s with a mixer so today DJs are lucky with the digital format, easy to find music on a computer so the songs are instant play, today we have active sound systems and state of the art led lighting that brings a great atmosphere to the dance floor. A touch of haze brings the beams to life-giving a great light show with 3d laser cutting through the air

At Mike's entertainment Yorkshire we carry standard 10 million public liability insurance and our equipment is safety checked every 12 months most of my equipment is less than 12 months but still gets checked for peace of mind.
