What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a comprehensive quote to a client, on top of date, time, venue (indoor/ outdoor), face painting services need to have an event type (kids' birthday party, work party, festival market to public, corporate event etc.) , any theme of the event, and expected no. of guests. Based on this information, we can prepare a more accurate quote to spackle the events.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, are the face painters insured by local insurance company? Which is to better protect the clients.
Secondly, what products do the face painters use? Are those products up to face painting industry level or just for interest.
Thirdly, any related track record the face painters have? So that you know about their on-the-job performance.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
My business originally was volunteering in some NGOs and kindergartens. I find I really love seeing the smiley faces and spending more and more time making my own improvements. My passion for a professional face painting kit and skills brings me to a next step, to start my face painting business in Hong Kong. After coming to London, I want to continue my face-painting journey here, and I received many positive comments and feedback so far.
