What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of what you are hosting and what equipment you require, the estimated number of guests you expect to be in attendance, if you have a venue and its dimensions (really important as our equipment is quite big), whether it is an indoor or outdoor event and finally, the duration of the event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a list of potential equipment and design for your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly ask the provider about the service they are offering. I would want to know about their business, their experiences with other events and a basic run down of what they can do for us and if they are available. Ask the provider what specifically they can do, including details of any special offers or activities to make it more memorable. Finally, I would want to know about any issues they may have encountered, what they did to fix them. I would ask as many questions relating to the activities as you can to ensure you know what you are receiving.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
ASL ZORB Mania was started out of genuine interest and passion for entertainment. We believe that it is not just about the activities we have on offer (although they are pretty amazing) it is about customer care and satisfaction, the way in which it is delivered to the client and how the personal care is administered. A good coach/leader makes a good birthday party/ or event into a great one, similarly, a bad coach/leader can make a perfectly good and suitable activity into a bad one. I am very passionate about ensuring the customer is satisfied and everyone is both safe and enjoys themselves from start to finish.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Wow, since joining in the summer of 2019 I have been inundated with requests for events and parties. It was a little overwhelming to be honest, but if I had to pick one I would have to say it was a 9th birthday party in Chipping Norton. We delivered body Zorbing to 20 children who rolled on and off in groups of 9/10. Delivering rolling activities to 10 boys at a time, ensuring safety and everyone was happy and content was a challenge, but we did it with a bit of style. The client was extremely happy with the service we provided a gave us a fantastic review. I would recommend Add To Event simply because the whole process is very easy to set up and is very useful for social aspects of what I do. Building communities and working within teams is what we are all about, and this platform provides this in abundance.
