What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a more accurate quote to a client, we need the date, time, duration and venue of the event. The type of event and also the numbers at the event. This will allow us to give the best quote and service to the client.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is important to ask the provider what they are supplying. Also to find out how far they travel to. It is also good to ask the provider what else they may provide, as they may do more than the customer realises. Check out reviews from their previous customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Throughout my life, I have loved planning events. I took the step of moving from a full-time job to being self-employed. I bought Eaton Event Hire from a lovely couple who had wanted to make it big but were not able to because of commitments. I wanted to keep the great customer service they provided and also make Eaton Event Hire grow. It allows me to do something I enjoy and makes me happy to see customers enjoy there event with products I have supplied.
