What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would love to hear all thoughts and ideas to make the event as unique and bespoke as possible, we are a team, all fully qualified chefs with kitted mobile commercial kitchens at our hands. as much basic information as possible is always a great thing so we can get a clear image of your requirements and what is to be expected on site, great communication is key!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Initially, I would make sure the provider you are wanting to choose has the knowledge & legal requirements to carry out the work. make sure you have confidence in them, a short phone conversation can give you a lot of information about the provider and if they have the skills to carry out the job for you. Ask all questions necessary to get a clear view of what you want.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've been in the catering & hospitality trade since starting in my Dad's Italian restaurant in Manchester on a weekend from 8years old mixing pizza dough and helping with a bit of everything, from there to large weddings & corporate events to working as a sous chef on private yachts in the Mediterranean & private hotel barges in France.
I've always had a strong passion for good food and great hospitality and didn't want to be
restricted to one venue, The Street Diner has given me the chance to spread my wings and bring my magic on to the road!
