Hq Sound Hire was established in 2011 and are based in Gloucestershire. They deal with PA hire and disco hire for small to large venues. They have successfully carried out a large number of events from festivals, weddings and band hires.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to provide a quote I will need ideally an event date and location. a brief description of the event,
number of acts. Indoor or outdoor from this I should be able to put a list of equipment which is suitable for the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out their experience and ask about their equipment. Our engineers have over 15 years experience in mixing live sound.
We know what sounds good being musicians ourselves we know what other bands need and can work well with them to give the best sound possible.
All the equipment we use is modern and we provide a technician that will deliver, set up, operate and pack down the equipment.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I am a musician part-time after doing so many events where the sound was hired and the sound was never what we wanted as a band. I decided to set up my own company so that I can provide a good all-round sound to the other musicians who are gigging with hired sound systems. Also I love mixing sound and providing a service that the audience and the musicians can enjoy.
