What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide an accurate quote for a customer we need to know the date the event is due to take place on, this allows us to check our availability. As well as the date we need to know a little bit about the type of event, the location of the event (ideally the exact venue) and which booth they are interested in hiring. With this information we can check mileage and know what props would be needed.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring a photo booth it is important to know exactly what you are getting. If you are wanting something specific then make sure you ask! For example it may not be clear if you are getting print outs and you want print outs, not all photo booths accommodate this and instead you get photos on a USB.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Party Pod was born during lockdown in 2021. Due to not being about to work me and my husband sat down and discussed starting our own business and what it should be. Our decision was to provide entertainment to events so when lockdown lifted we could bring back the fun that everyone had been missing out on! We wanted to be able to provide this at a more affordable price and so we put together a table top booth that was a good price on the market and now we are beginning to expand!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I used Add to Event before I was a supplier and it is so easy to use! Suppliers are found for you and you know before you message that they are going to be available for your date! Party Pod is new to Add to Event so we are just starting to give out quotes and are excited for the next step!
