Phase 1 Events provide luxury toilet facilities to events of all sizes throughout Northampton and beyond. Their large, room-sized toilets are a far cry from the rent-a-loos of old, ensuring that your event provides guests with comfort and quality at every stage of their visit. All facilities are self contained, and require only 240V mains power to operate.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The best information from any customer that would enable a full comprehensive constructive quotation for their event would be the planned schedule of the event inclusive of start and finish times, if there are any special requirements (such as disabled facilities). Information on site access is always really good as well, as we supply the width length & height of our toilet facility. Access times to the venue for the delivery are important to know too, as well as access times for the collection the next day.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never be afraid to ask questions before you commit to booking your luxury toilet. We have been asked to do site visits to see if our toilets fit in to the planned position - we were happy to oblige. We give an extensive brief on our quotation document which hopefully answers some of the customer's questions. We offer extra luxuries such as perfumes & aftershaves in the toilets as a little personal thank you. Look for small tokens like this in a good provider - someone looking only to scrimp pennies may not be a good idea!
Always ask if what you're hiring will serve purpose. Remember that the people you are asking have been doing this for a long time and know all of the pitfalls and are always willing to share their experiences.
You only get to book this event once so if you have any doubts ask! You can't go back and plan this again so don't let the plan go down the toilet! It's only an email or phone call to put that nagging doubt to rest. Check, check and check again!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Phase 1 Events works for some of the major event companies in the UK. We have assisted our customers with events such as Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, Boardmasters Festival (Newquay), Summertime Ball (Wembley Arena) and Jingle Bell Ball (O2 arena). We are a full logistics solution to any event our customers wish to host.
Phase 1 and our customers are meticulous in the planning of any event no matter how big or small. If an event is not planned well through to execution then something will go wrong. Our job is to avoid that at all costs!

Phase 1 has only recently joined the Add to Event site in the last few weeks, but I must say that I am surprised at the scope of requests coming through for the service I'm offering.
I am really excited about supplying our luxury toilet facilities to weddings and major party celebrations. I can't wait for the feedback from the customers we have already booked, so watch this space.
