K & S Toilets provides portable toilets and showers for hire across Mid Wales, Herefordshire and Shropshire. With over 15 years experience in the trade, they provide a professional service and cater for a wide range of events from private parties, to weddings, to festivals and construction sites.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To enable us to provide a fully detailed quotation we need a brief idea of the type of event, the number of expected guests or visitors along with the planned date and duration. If a venue has been chosen then a postcode is useful, otherwise an area in which the event is likely to be located with the nearest town. If there is a preference for the type of unit required then please let us know otherwise we are happy to make recommendations and provide a quotation for the different options.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In looking for a portable toilet supplier for your event you need to make sure that they are able to provide the type of portable toilet that you require, whether it is single plastic portable toilets or a luxury toilet trailer.
Secondly you need to ensure that they have experience of providing portable toilets for your type of event and have local knowledge of the area along with the correct legal documentation (a waste licence for example). They should be able to make recommendations as to the best units for your particular event and ideally provide references or examples of previous events supplied.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
K & S Toilets was first established some 25 years ago when the original owners of the company were looking for suitable facilities for their daughters wedding. When they were unable to find the ideal unit locally, they decided to build their own and through 'word of mouth' they went on to hire out this unit and build the hire fleet.
We took over the company nearly 15 years ago and through investment have continued to expand and upgrade the hire units. From the beginning, the company has always prided itself on providing a quality, professional and personal service at a fair price. Many customers who hired portable toilets & showers in the early days still come back to us year after year.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I'm pleased to say that since joining Add to Event as a supplier of portable toilets & showers, we have experienced a tremendous response, resulting in bookings for events both large and small.
