What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we require the following details: a brief explanation of what the event is, how many people will be attending the event, the venue location and if it is an indoor or outdoor event. The duties the staff are required to carry out for the event, event times and shift times required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hire a provider for your area of work, it's all about experience and quality. We have vast experience in staffing all sorts of events nationwide, all of which are long-standing relationships built on the quality of product that we supply. Whether it is a small private event in your own home, or a large festival, we have the experience in dealing with such demands and the quality of staff to make your event the best it can be.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Relish Staffing is a sister company to the long-standing Relish Events. We started Relish Staffing to service the needs of Relish Events, and to use the experience and expertise to expand and grow to supply staffing and support to 3rd party clients. Our passion for the hospitality sector and attention to detail in customer service should not be limited to just Relish Events. We are now growing to provide the same quality of staff for all events over the UK.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have been very impressed with the Add to Event platform. We have taken on several bookings of all sizes, from a wedding reception in Bristol of 80-100 - where our staff helped set up the venue and then served welcome drinks and canapés, before moving to the bar area and serving drinks, managing the family pre-paid tab and the cash bar. The bar was stocked by the client. Our staff also helped serve the evening buffet of hot Hog Roast rolls (they were delicious by all accounts), before cleaning up once the bar area had closed at 1am. Everyone was extremely happy with the quality and experience of the staff provided, and the staff also enjoyed themselves - commenting on how great the event was. I would recommend Add to Event to both clients and providers, as it provides a great link up between the two, without breaking the bank!
