What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We aim to provide a quote that is clear and comprehensive. From the customer, we need the event date, the event type, estimated number of guests and where the event is being held. From this information, we can quote one of our services that will make their event a special one.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do lots of research about the company you are going to use, it is important that the company you choose suits the event that you are running. Ask the provider their experience of the event that you are running, ask them for an example of an event they have run previously like yours. Reviews are an excellent starting point to see what work the provider has done before and other customers experience of them. We feel its important the provider has a personal touch to the event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Meat & Cheese was set up with our love of Cheese!! Melting cheeses on dishes is something we have loved throughout our lives and we wanted to bring together two amazing flavours and bring our inspired dishes to events near you. Anton has spent 25 years in the catering industry and has a passion for working alongside customers to provide a bespoke menu that will make the event very special.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have received over 10 bookings in the past month and it’s really accelerated our business, Add to Event allows us to offer out our services to all types of events, it gives us a platform to showcase our skills and expertise to customers within our area. We fed over 1000 people over a 2 day period at a Haven Customers festival and we had so much fun and made sure that our service was 5 star! The feedback about our food and our service was so good we are still gleaming now! We have either nailed down a date for next year as they were so keen to have us back and made sure we booked it in before anything else! This is why Add to Event has helped our business so much.
