What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We like to think we offer a comprehensive and dedicated service. Having important information at hand helps us refine the event so ideally, we like to know potentially where the event will be, approximately how many guests you plan to have at your event and if there are any special requirements you need from us for the event. As we move along we work with you and fine-tune all the small details that become part off the bigger picture for the overall event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's always important to find out exactly what a supplier offers. The catering industry is a huge area with many different companies who have specific skills. As we are a vintage mobile caterer we know our van and our food go hand in hand in offering that bespoke package you are looking for. Always ask about the set up of the unit that you are hiring too, the better their unit is equipped, the more professional the service will be.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After working in the banquet and hospitality trade for many years, we realised that the most important requirements people look for is individuality and personality to their event.
We realise every event is different and that's exactly what makes it special! We only use the very best ingredients and suppliers when we are sourcing our produce. This, in turn, leads to a much higher standard of food that we put out.
Having a great iconic van to work from is an added bonus to our business. He is an eye-catching crowd pleaser and stands out from the crowd, making him a perfect addition to any day!
