What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Once our quote has been accepted we love to meet our clients to add our personal touch and talk through the details of the day allowing us to get to know each other a little before the big day.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Rule number 1! Always check out the photo gallery to ensure the style presented is to your liking. Go with a photographer who offers a professional wedding photography agreement/contract. This protects you and ensures you are dealing with a professional. It's also useful to find out if your photographer carries spare equipment in the unlikely event of camera failure. There must always be a backup plan for this one-off special moment in your life!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Artisan Photography was born out of a passion for photography combined with the love of capturing very important special moments and memories that our clients will treasure forever. It's genuinely exciting waiting for our newlyweds to review their wedding day photos and we feel extremely proud of the heartfelt reviews sent back to us. Equally, we focus heavily on keeping our margins low which in turn means we are accessible to everyone.
