What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we require the hire dates, a brief description of the type of event they are hosting, the potential venue, whether it is an indoor or outdoor event and the style/theme of props required. A rough idea of the budget will help us to create a bespoke package of itemised props for the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a provider, the more detailed response/quote that you receive will give you an indication of the expertise of the supplier and how much attention is paid to the detail of your event. Check out the profile page for examples of their work and if they are specialists in their field. We have supplying props to film, TV and theatre productions as well as parties, events and weddings for over 20 years and we are very experienced at creating bespoke packages for customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Celtic Prop Hire started life in 1999 as a smaller business hiring props to film and TV productions and has been expanding ever since! We now occupy a 10,000 sq. ft warehouse in Cardiff, which is full of all kinds of props! We take pride in creating exactly the right props package for each customer to enable them to enjoy their event.
