Makes and Bakes

Makes and Bakes are crafting pros! We run a selection of fantastic, mobile arts & crafts workshop for kids and adults. Our workshops are led in a step-by-step style by our qualified instructor. Our aim is that everyone walks away from our workshops feeling great about what they make! That's why we offer top quality crafts that will be used and enjoyed. We come with all the materials and equipment needed, so you only need to provide the table and chairs. We even tackle the clean up too, (though most of our activities are completely mess free.)

Our activities include:

Tie-Dye: Learn techniques to make a colourful and unique t-shirt or bag.

Cupcake Decorating: Follow a step-by-step workshop to make your choice of funky character cupcake with fondant

Slime: Make stretchy slime and personalise with colours, glitter and more

Bath Bombs: Use a choice of scents, fragrances and seasonal add-ins to customise your bath bomb

Foam Crafts: Assemble our pre-cut self-adhesive foam kits to create crafts like wands or swords

Candle Art: Use coloured modelling wax to make unique candles

Wood Crafts: Assemble and decorate fantastic wood crafts like puppets or fairy doors

Card Crafts: Colour in or draw your own design to make a cool magnet or key-ring

Most of our activities are £6.50 per person, except the candle art and tie-dye workshops which are £10 per person. We generally need 8 guests or the equivalent cost for each booking. We are able to provide bulk discounts for corporate events.

While, our activities are generally pretty mess free, when you book a slime or tie-dye workshop, we advise that guests wear old clothes and that the activity takes place on a non-carpeted floor.

Makes and Bakes is fully insured and we can provide a risk assessment for your event if necessary. All our instructors under go comprehensive health and safety training. We are based in Belfast but we can travel out to any area in NI. (Travel charges may apply.)
