About The Famous Kitchen
The Famous Kitchen has been established for 4 years. By day we serve food local Perthshire butcher's produce to the general public at the Cargill layby on the A93 and in the evenings and weekends we are available for events. We are happy to do Private parties, Corporate Events, Weddings, Location Catering, Festivals .. any thing that needs good Scottish food served with a good attitude! On our menu are Steak Burgers, Minute Steaks, Bacon, Stornoway Black Pudding , Hedridean Haggis, Hot Dogs. Along side that we sell tea/ coffee/ soft drinks/ hot chocolate and confectionery. The great thing about us.. apart from the food.. is that we are completely self sufficient.. we have our own power and water. Rock up...serve and go. The trailer is towed by a Land Rover Defender so we can generally get anywhere!
Typical Clients
We have the catering at Evening weddings at Errol Estate and Falkland Palace. The Perth Christmas Lights events for the last two years have hosted us. Bowhouse Food weekends in Anstruther... Darts and Boxing events at the Corn Exchange Edinburgh... Glamis Castle Christmas Fair... Perth Santa Run.. Dundee Dram and Half Dram... to mention but a few.

Delicious food and delightful people!
The Famous Kitchen were absolute stars! They are great communicators, went out of their way to make our lives super easy, and their food is delicious! We were particularly impressed by the steak burger which was extremely tasty. They coped very well with the volume. 10/10 would recommend!

The Famous Kitchen were a fantastic addition to this year's Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival 2018 in Stirling. Exceptionally friendly, punctual, well-organised, great food and a very striking American-retro style catering unit. Highly recommended!!!

Outstanding
We booked this ‘airstream’ burger van for our sons 18th bday party. Correspondence with Anne was clear and concise during the booking and the week before Anne came to our house (where the party was held) to confirm the details and the venue.
On the evening of the party Anne and Jim arrived at the agreed time and were set up within half an hour. They set up small tables with their relishes and got started. The food was outstanding...fresh rolls with burgers, hot dogs, minute steak and toppings of bacon, cheese, fried eggs. The relishes were home made and also fabulous.
We can’t recommend Anne and Jim’s service enough. Excellent food and service and loads of compliments from everyone at the party. Will def use this again.
