About The Ian Thomson Quintet
The Ian Thomson Quintet is an exciting new Berkshire based jazz band, playing a variety of music, from bebop, to jazz-funk, to latin-jazz, to innovative adaptations of contemporary pop and soul.
The quintet draws on the skills of five highly talented and experienced musicians: Fabio Iacono on drums, Michael Hall on percussion, Peter Hutchinson on bass, Simon Cook on keyboards and Ian Thomson on saxophones.
The music is at times sizzling with energy and at others sweet and soulful but always fresh!
