About Black Bear
We are a family-run business offering mobile artisan locally roasted coffee & handmade eats from a self-converted vintage 1960's Rice-Richardson Horsebox.
The 'Black Bear' represents a creature that is the epitome of adaptability and versatility. We can diversify to offer a range of produce within any environment to suit the event. This may mean offering hot drinks exclusively, unique cocktails (including an award-winning sparking British Sparkling wine) , sustainable meat bakes such as our hugely popular Venison sausage rolls 'VeniRolls' or other game takeaway dishes. We create an experience that suits the event, but artisan coffee will always be our forte, with locally, sustainably harvested produce featuring at the heart of what we present. We also like to stand out from the crowd by introducing you to the newest flavors on the market that everyone is talking about - something a little bit different, innovative and exciting!

**PLEASE NOTE** We Are standard sized Horsebox unit that will require access and a position on the site to offer services for a CAFE or BAR. We don't offer another form of bar set-up or service for areas e.g urban gardens (parties, etc) where there is no access for a large vehicle.

Brilliant vendor, great with communication, booked with ease and adapted when we phoned in a panic as we’d been let down by another vendor. Laura was quick to jump to a solution and adapt their offerings. So appreciated, can’t wait to book again!

What a discovery!
We hire coffee carts a lot for various events, this was our first time working with Laura and Martin. Their early communication was excellent, their arrival was prompt and their set up seemless (especially as we’d put them in quite an awkward spot which involved manually manoeuvring their van). The aesthetics were delightful - pretty festoon, lovely show front and such friendly service. Every beverage was excellent and the pastries went down particularly well. Black Bear were a delight to deal with from start to finish and I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

Superstars all day
Black Bear were absolute superstars serving coffee to the crowds that came to our Quarry open day on a sunny Sunday in April.
From the moment the gates opened at 10am until well after they had closed at 3pm there was a constant stream of customers, which they dealt with superbly.
Laura and Martin were a lovely couple to work with, communication was excellent from the beginning, and they just got on with it, even when there were issues with the wifi.
I would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone. They really know their stuff and are able to cope very well with an extremely busy crowd.
