About Las Tapitas
We are a catering company specialising in Spanish paella and tapas. Carlos is a native of Barcelona and is passionate about brining the food of his youth to this country. We are located at Hill House Farm in the Cotswolds where we freshly prepare all our products in a beautiful rural setting conveniently located between Cheltenham and Cirencester.
Carlos is the heart of the business. Growing up in Catalonia with his extended family, he was greatly influenced by the home cooking of his Spanish mother and Catalan grandmother. He moved to Bristol from Ibiza in 2004 and, upon moving to Cheltenham in 2014, he saw an opportunity to offer the cuisine of his youth to the people of the Cotswolds. Carlos cooks with intuition and passion, his natural understanding of ingredients allows him to create amazing layers of flavour. He respects tradition and simplicity but is also inspired by contemporary combinations and he loves paella! Helen brings a steady head to the operations and is able to fuse her love of all thing Spanish with her organizational skills. We want to create the highest quality and most authentic product possible, integrating the finest genuine Spanish products with the freshest local produce.
We provide genuine Spanish paella using the freshest ingredients, Spanish rice, authentic seasoning and traditional methods.
We cater for intimate gatherings of 8 people up to large parties of 100+ people. Cooking the paella in front of your guests offers them a great interactive experience, or if you prefer we can arrive with the paella precooked and ready to be eaten. We also have a large range of hot and cold tapas to accompany the paella. We are supported and mentored by Virgin Start Up and are proud members of NCASS.
Typical Clients
We can cater for weddings, private parties, Spanish nights, outdoor events/ festivals and corporate buffets or team building events. We are an alternative to more traditional options and have catered with great success for clients who want to impress their guests by recreating the spirit of a beautiful summer night in Barcelona.

Delicious food and lovely people!
Helen and Carlos did an amazing job. The set up was quick, guests really enjoyed watching the paella being cooked, and the paella was delicious! We had the chicken and chorizo paella, and the three bean paella. Portion sizes were perfect and the food was delicious, all our guests loved it! 10/10 - I highly recommend Las Tapitas for any event where you want fresh, delicious food!

Absolutely Delicious!
Right from the start there was a great amount of communication. Now for the most important bit, the food. Absolutely amazing. So authentic and every mouthful was just so full of flavour - I will be dreaming about those Paella's for a long time!!
Lovely people, delicious paella
Carlos and Helen were so friendly and very professional. They arrived on time, were completely self sufficient. They cheerfully dealt with a last minute allergy request I had not foreseen. The paella’s were delicious and all my guests were raving about how good the food was. A complete success.

Flawless
Two of the loveliest people you could ask for at your wedding with an extremely versatile service that seems able to produce Paella more or less anywhere.
The food is exactly what paella should be; filling and hearty but also varied and delicious. Both the portions themselves and the amount of meat and fish added are very generous and easily enough to provide seconds for all. You will be left resenting your own stomach for not being able to handle more. The variety of both appetisers and the paella itself is also wonderful.

Great food and lovely people!
We were really pleased with the food and service provided by Carlos and Helen. Nothing was too much trouble during the planning process and they successfully provided great food for 180 wedding guests. The chicken and chorizo paella was particularly well received and the vege paella and all the canapes were also thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Las Tapitas!
Outstanding Service!
Our daughter wanted a Spanish themed wedding. We went for a taster session at Las Tapitas and were very impressed with both food and the warm, friendly approach of Carlos and Helen. They cooked paella for 200 guests; they also provided a wonderful selection of salads. The food was outstanding. Every guest commented on the quality of the food. But Carlos and Helen did so much more. They were so attentive to our desires and concerns, and made every effort to add a personal and very Spanish touch to the wedding. Their communication was excellent too. I felt they were our friends by the end of the day and we did not want them to leave!
