What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice we can offer to any potential customers who are planning a special event is to shop about, contact various companies & get a feel from them in their responses. Ask any relatable questions about their products, whether are they fully insured, do they provide high-quality equipment safe for business use? Is there any extra hidden charges and what is the cancellation policy? Nobody likes to be stung in the event you need to cancel last minute.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Small Dreams BIG MEMORIES was born in 2020 where we won a sleepover for 4 from a company that at the time thought provided a good service, and nobody in my immediate area offered this service. When looking into equipment and researching the health & safety aspect we found that the tents we had been provided with for the hire was not safe for children to use (homemade) therefore we joined a support group and found a supplier who could provide us with equipment that was safe for business hire and carry any official safety labels needed in these types of business.
We then expanded further in 2021 by offering Bell tent hire to our already successful sleepover business before this year 2022 expanding again rebranding our business and offering more services along with balloon decor to compliment all events.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had a few bookings through Add to Event and every customer has been lovely and appreciative of our service. Our small business has been recommended by these customers also and resulted in other bookings coming through. We like that alot of our customers come from word of mouth, however, we also love that when a potential customer sees us on an advertising site like Add to Event and they message us and from there we secure a booking and they inform us that our customer service is second to none. This makes us proud of what we have achieved.
