What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask exactly what they provide. Sometimes, a party business may not have characters that they can send to your party, or they might not have experienced performers and party hosts. Also, you should check out any added extras they might do - like party bags or even party planning!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Enchanted Tales started as a product of the founder, Alys Jones's love for all things fairytale. Alys grew up as an actress, singer and musician and has been teaching music and drama to children for a few years. Through this love of performing and working with children, and the fantastic plans of princesses coming to parties, she started Enchanted Tales!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Oh gosh, how to talk about only one amazing experience that I've had with Add to Event? I think one of my favourite things about working with Add to Event is how easy it is to communicate with potential clients. My client got in touch with me through Add to Event and we finalised the whole process for the party. We did a Doorstep Party (Covid Friendly) in North London and it involved one of our musicians performing a 'mini concert' for our birthday girl, with singing, dancing and games. It was so much fun and the sun was shining! I would recommend Add to Event to any party entertainment company, near the beginning of their launch, as the perfect way of building up a reputation with clients!
