What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Before we can put together a quote for you we need to know the location, date, type of event and your chosen character. Then we can provide you with our availability and costs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you look at photographs of the actual character which will be attending your event. Often companies will use copyrighted images rather than images of their own performers. The quality of costumes, wigs etc can vary hugely so make sure you check first. For us, character integrity is of utmost importance. We want you to feel you’ve been visited by the 'real' character.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I’ve always loved performing so being a character is something I love to embody. Since becoming a Mum I love the imagination and wonder of children. So being a party entertainer combines my two favourite things. Nothing is more rewarding than making a child’s eyes light up when you walk into a room as their favourite princess.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've been lucky to have lots of bookings through Add to Event. The booking process is simple and we’ve found it’s a doorway into some major clients that perhaps we wouldn't have access to without this platform.
