What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We always provide a generalised overview of the different services we provide but in order to put together a quote which is more specific to your needs we would require the following information:
Date and time, address and type of venue, type of event, number of guests expected and ages.
Also what sort of party package, staff and characters are required.
Are there any additional requests.
Once we have this information, we can check availability and put together a more suitable offering.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you don't know a company/service provider personally then I would always advise customers to check out reviews provided by other customers. This will give you information such as:
Do they have a good reputation
Are they reliable and punctual
Have they ever had to cancel an event
Are they good at what they do
Are they recommended

I would also advise to check out social media/websites etc and ask to see pictures of events they have done before.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I worked at Walt Disney World in Florida and loved the concept of making children's dreams come true. I wanted to bring that same magic back to the UK for children who may never get to go to Florida. There is nothing more special than seeing a child's face light up when their favourite character/hero turns up to celebrate their special day with them. I love volunteering at Children's hospitals and charity events and doing my best to make a difference.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is one of the platforms I enjoy using the most. It is good value for money, very simple to use and the leads are always sent quickly and efficiently covering all of the information needed. The follow-up service is also second to none.

One of my favourite events we have done via a lead from Add to Event was for the Sunbeam Foundation's First Anniversary. This is a charity who deals with premature babies and stillbirths. It was lovely to be able to help Gemma (the founder) with entertainment for her event, as she gives so much to other people.
Every event we have done is incredibly special to us; we have made some incredible memories.
