What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a client, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and location of the venue/event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a descriptive quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider about the products they are offering and how long they had been in the industry. Ask the provider about the dips they are providing. Also find out about the equipment as better equipment will mean providing better taste in chocolate.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Choc-a-lot is a family run business, who offers friendly, professional and unique service. My passion is providing clients with excellent service and making their day stress free. We have just extended our business with a unique sweet cart/ferris wheel. I have always had a love of meeting new people.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am quite new to Add to Event. I have had lots of enquiries through this platform and it has been fantastic. I would recommend Add to Event to anyone that is in the hospitality and events sector. I have not looked back on joining Add to Event.
