To arrange my quote for you it is essential I know the date, time and location of course, but also the age range. This is useful for me to tailor my services and kit so to create the perfect design and experience for all ages attending your event. For example face paint is always a huge hit with the kids, but have you considered a glitter/embellishments/tattoo bar? Both teens and adults love getting in the party spirit with added sparkle; it is a great way to include everybody!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Communication is key so that I can create package options for you to choose from. I want to know any themes you have in mind, the age range attending the party, if you have hired a similar entertainer before - how did you enjoy them? A good provider should want to use all of this info to tailor the perfect experience for your event. It should be a collaborative experience between the provider and the party host.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

As a professional makeup artist in the film and TV world, I have always loved being creative. Simultaneously I love the event world - you can't beat a party atmosphere, and so face painting and glitter brings together my two passions! I adore the instant reaction I receive when children look in the mirror and love their face paint or glitter! It allows me to practice being quickly creative - but also I am naturally very sociable and love having a giggle with the kids and the grown-ups.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Using Add to Event's website made booking my first event so easy, the booking was local and communication went smoothly. My first booking set the bar very high! It was for a little girl's birthday party and her lovely mum went all out to create a memorable day. I felt so lucky to have been a part of the fun, and was flattered to receive so many compliments from kids and parents alike.
