What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To best tailor our quote for your event, it is important Little Rainbow Arts gets all the small details. We normally require information about the type of event you are hosting, an estimate of the amount of guests expected to attend, the date and time, as well as details about the venue (is it indoors, in an event gazebo, outdoors, what's the lighting like, etc) and lastly what services you require as often we offer more than one thing or have contact with companies that can do.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My best advice when looking to hire a service/business is to look at their customer references/feedback. Ask how many years they have been in business, make sure they are going to turn up and deliver what they are offering because too often I have clients contacting me after booking a 'cheaper' company who has let them down at the last minute. And lastly go check their Facebook business page, check their ratings, and look at their images/videos. It should give you a good idea of the standard they perform at during event, and double check for 'real images' at events, not just staged images for promotional use (and that they are using their own images, not someone else's).

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Coming from a large family, I have always loved to be around people. My grandma was a painter, and my parents were always arty, making anything and everything, especially all the holiday decorations for the house. I worked many summers in summer camps entertaining children and decided that it is what I wanted to do. Little Rainbow Arts provides professional face painting, natural henna, glitter tattoos, realistic airbrush tattoos, prenatal body/belly art, festival glitters, hair wraps and so much more. I just love what I do, and it never feels like a day of work. I am always happy when I'm working and that makes a massive difference in the service I provide for the customers. Children and adults alike love it, and I wouldn't want to do anything else.
