What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to be able to provide an accurate and detailed quote, I would need the event date, type of event they would be hosting, location of event, whether the event is indoors or outdoors, room for set up i.e trailer or gazebo, estimated number of guests and age range.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise the customer to ask what experience the provider has with the type of event they are looking to hire them for, also if they had a web site or pictures of their work. Finding out which products the provider uses is also important to be sure they are using professional hypoallergenic products suitable for all skin types.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started Painted & Polished due to a love of creativity and art. I also enjoy making people happy and entertaining them. As a parent myself I am aware of how important it is to have a friendly face ready to please at a child's party.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had loads of bookings through Add to Event and it's hard to pick one. I enjoy doing children's parties and did one recently which was so much fun, both parents and children joined in having their faces painted and glitter tattoos. I used UV paints on some and they loved shining the UV torch on each other to show the glow. I got good reviews which I savour. I look forward to seeing Add to Event notifications pop up on my phone!
