What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an extensive quote to a prospective client, we need the following information; event date, time and location. A brief explanation of the kind of occasion and whether there is a theme. The amount of guests expected and the venue details ie outside or indoors. With these details we can provide a comprehensive quote using our years of experience, ensuring we have the right professional and the right equipment, in the right places to be able to offer a bespoke service to our clients.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to customers would be to ensure your face and body paint artist has the expertise and experience to provide a professional service. They are using purpose made, cosmetic grade professional facepaint from reputable sources.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

NYGLORIOUS FACE ARTS was created because of my daughter's love of art. She was gifted a "how to face paint" book as a three year old which we enjoyed as a play activity. Friends and family began to book me to facepaint for their parties and it took off from there. We officially launched in 2013. My daughter is now 16 taking her GCSEs, she'll be going on to study art at college and my passion for this awesome work has grown immensely, in fact just as much as the business. NYGLORIOUS FACE ARTS is known throughout the creative face and body art global industry as a leading UK Artist and has been painting faces for 10 years now. Making sure we deliver the best face art to our customers is paramount. We pride ourselves on being among the best in London.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had a few special bookings through Add to Event. One that sticks out to me was a festival organiser, who was holding an open air music event in Hertfordshire. We were contacted with only 1 weeks notice, however was able to mobilise a team and the full festival equipment to deliver an amazing service on the day. The footfall was 20k, the revellers loved the face/body art, festival glitter with hair-braiding and because we performed so well, the client has invited us back again this year.
