What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Without a doubt, face and body art is a great source of entertainment and your well-being is as equally important as your amusement! Do feel free to ask us professional face painters about our health and safety practices. E.g., how frequently do we clean our kits? If we use a clean sponge for each client? How are we protecting ourselves and others from risks of infections? It is also useful to find out if you need to provide a table and chair during the booking.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The wonderful glitter-gushing, colourful and creative world of McGorgeous Face & Body Art was born through the sheer frustration of too many face painters over-promising and underdelivering to our own children, so we set about turning that around for ourselves! We’ve gone from our humble Parent Teacher Association fundraising foundation roots and graduated up to The Royal Albert Hall VIP experiences. We are the face painters of choice for celebrity YouTubers and movie blockbuster premieres, but we also have time for brilliant birthday bonanzas too! Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our most recent Add to Event client invited us to submit a quote for face painting at a first birthday family celebration. As well as hiring us for face painting, our new client was surprised to learn that our reasonable hourly rate also included glitter tattoos for the older children and a glitter bar, which the mums absolutely went wild for! As the client was after an additional wow factor for all the children, her stresses were taken care of courtesy of our bubble machine from our range of special effects also available for hire. Needless to say, her event was fantastic, and we’ve already had enquiries from her friends and family about services. None of this would have been possible without the marvellous Add to Event platform.
