What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable proposal.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider about their style of work, every face painter is different so if you are looking for someone who can deliver the quality you are looking for, then this should be a priority. This should be closely followed by their experience and the products they use. If you are having a large corporate event, you want your face painter to keep the queues short and crowds entertained. And equally the products used will ensure standards and quality.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started face painting as a hobby whilst at University as I loved face painting for family and friends. This hobby grew into a passion and I wanted to provide a service that catered to both the children and adults. I now work solely on smaller events and have a team for the bigger gigs we cover.
