What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date and duration so that we can check the availability of our products. We also require a brief explanation of the type of furniture or decor they require, the quantities, and where they will need them delivering to/collecting from. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together product suggestions and prices for hire and delivery/collection.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We understand that hiring furniture and decor for an event can be a bit confusing. If you don't know exactly what you need, that is completely fine, give the supplier description of your event, and the look and feel they wish to achieve. If they know their product list inside out as they should, they will be able to give you suggestions to choose from and work with you to achieve the correct aesthetic for your event.
Second of all, never underestimate the amount of seating you will need. It is always a good idea to hire a few extras, whether it be for your entertainers, for your speakers or the old and young amongst your group.

As event producers ourselves, we know how important a hassle-free hire is. We produce large-scale festivals, contemporary conferences and intimate Cotswold weddings, and we have created our furniture to be sturdy, reliable and event-ready because that is exactly what we require at our own shows. We do not create or hire out any furniture or decor that would not match our own high expectations.

We are so happy that Add to Event has allowed us to reach a new audience of people who may not otherwise have heard about our services. We have been asked to provide rustic seating for weddings, banquet tables for marquee celebrations, and to design a garden party layout for a retirement celebration.
