They host an array of events from cocktail and canvas paint parties to formal cocktail masterclasses and booming parties. As well as this they also offer services as an add-on bar for weddings or wedding cocktail displays plus festivals and private parties.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
I aim to be as flexible as possible with my clients. In order to offer the package to my client, I must fully understand their needs and expectation. The core details are: date, hire type, venue, duration and headcount. After this any specific requirement the client may have can be considered into the overall equation and I can offer them the best, tailored quote possible.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't get sucked into the 'who has the best marketing campaign' trap. Your best insight is to look for a proven track record. A business run by somebody with a wealth of knowledge and passion for that sector, be it cocktails, coffer or catering. More expensive does not always mean better quality! Try and see your proposed supplier in action, at a public event for example.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The best part of the last decade, I have found myself behind one bar or another. In fact, over the last 7 and a bit years I have had the pleasure of being a part of some of the best management teams there is in hospitality! My biggest issue has always been seeking variety in what I do, that's where the event came in. Now no two days are the same as I slowly build BOOZY BAR up from the ground, to where we are today.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have been lucky to have had a few bookings via this platform now. Every single one has been a huge success, with clients leaving thrilled with the experience that they have had. I am grateful to Add to Event for creating a platform for small businesses to connect with future and potential clients in a like-minded space. My most recent booking through this platform was a wedding in Bournemouth. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day.
